That experience was what told me I was done. I could sit back and listen to it and dream into the sounds and changes of the songs and worlds would unfold in front of my inner eye. I guess this is what stopped me so far from doing it. ![]() But the rawness and character the tracks have in their current stat is something I don't want to loose. I have to admit that at this point in time I had no idea of mixing and so I still consider on some days to go back to remaster the whole EP. I really wanted to explore the contrast of melody and noise and the harmonics of distortion. ![]() I was much deeper immersed in the post-rock and prog rock scene then and approached composing in a different way which is very noticeable in the songs. Back then I didn't really care about format and the music on here represents such a different part of my life and myself that it deserved it's own EP. Some people find it confusing that it came after my first LP but that's just how it is. At the time I was using nothing but Propellerhead Reason and some of the songs on it where old even when I brought it out. The "Far Sky EP" is first EP I made a long long time back.
